As you can see, my post about The Ting Tings album is gone. Because Blogger totally deleted for having a download link. Something about copyright violation.
Which i can understand. However not posting the album kind of defeats the purpose when i write the reviews for my Album Of The Month reviews.
Whatever. The internet totally sucks :f:

Holy Mary Mercy Me
It's been a whole hell of a long time since i've posted. I just haven't really had the time or energy to blog about everything.
The biggest event in my life at the moment is finding out one of my best friends has breast cancer. Forgive me for not saying her name but it's too painful for me to even think about, let alone typing her name. But yeah it's been hard for me to accept and I've been showing her love and support as much as I possibly can.
And i start college on August 27th :O one day after my birthday. This is massive craziness. I'm actually growing up :-/ I remember a time when college seemed so far away and now it's less than a month away. Is there a pill I can take to make me young again? The thought of being an adult scares the hell out of me.
So yeah my lazy ass doesn't really feel like typing anymore. Yup that's that I do, I don't post a blog in over a month and when I finally do it's short. I call it the Myle Method.
I'll try to post more often. Bye for now.

Eh Eh (I Have Nothing To Say)
Really, i don't. Like at all. That's basically why i haven't been posting much lately  I'd say my blog has become pretty dull (eternally dull perhaps?)
Lately i've become obsessed with I Love Lucy. I've always loved the show but i've been watchin it almost religiously. It's quite handy to have the entire series on DVD :-p But yeah the show is hilarious and quite therapuetic at times.
Speaking of therapuetic, i discovered that i love listening to Lady Gaga while cooking. Random i know but i do. There is no greater joy in that making bacon while listening to Fancy Pants <3
that's all for now <3

Fancy Fancy Oh So Fancy
i totally haven't posted in a while. Mostly because there isn't much to say lol. I'm still attending music classes and volunteering at the hospital. However, I won't be going back to this hospital for the rest of week for whatever reason.
I TOTALLY love working with the kids at the hospital. I don't do much but spend time with them like reading books, playing games, etc. I also help nurses with medicines, baths and so on. It's a rewarding experience! It is pretty depressing seeing all these sick kids who can't live normal lives though. I gotta say that it's ironic that most of these kids are happier than most people that live so called "normal" lives. Go figure.
In the event that i ever get my camera to start working right I'll make a video. Buying a new camera right now isn't an option simply because i can't afford it lol.
So that's all for now.

My favorite movies and why i love them
the title says it all doesn't it?
1. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Never in a million years would i have guessed that my all time favorite movie would be a musical. It has the perfect blend of dark humor, drama, and blood. And it doesn't hurt that it has my favorite actor and director (Johnny Depp and Tim Burton). I was going through a weird anti social time when i first saw this movie and the message about greed, corruption and revenge really touched me (:weirdassmyle:). Even though that phase of my life is over (sort of) I still really appreciate it. And i have to say, this movie has what can only be described as the greatest final scene of any movie ever made.
2. Tropic Thunder An extremely funny and weird film. I've seen it well over 30 times and i always nearly die from laughter. It's kind of hard to explain. It's just one of those you have to see. It has Robert Downey Jr in one of his most amessing roles: an Australiain actor who gets the role of a black man in a movie and dons black face. Robert and the movie got a lot of flack and criticism for the protrayol but it was unnecessary. People are just too damn sensitive! I do think it's funny how it was only white people complaining. I haven't heard a single black person complain about it at all. That's all I have to say about that. And this movie has more funny one liners than any movie i've ever seen.
3. American Beauty A quirky masterpiece. It's about a depressed middle aged father who's trapped in a loveless marriage who falls in love with his high school daughter's friend. It's a haunting story that deals with many social issues including homophobia.
4. Ed Wood Another Burton/Depp masterpiece. I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw this movie so was I was pleasantly surprised. Martin Landau completely steals the show as Bela Lugosi.
5. Milk My favorite Sean Penn movie. It's about Harvey Milk, the American gay activist who fought for gay rights and became California's first openly gay elected official. An extremely sad movie but powerful. I think about inequality often but this movie made me think about it even more. What causes people to hate other people so much? I'll never understand it.
6. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas A story about an 8 year old boy, Bruno, whose father is a commandant at a Nazi concentration camp. He befriends another young Jewish boy on the other side of the camp fence. Another very powerful film. Bruno is innocent and completely oblivious to all of the horrors going on around him. This movie has the most heartbreaking ending I've ever seen.
7. Bad Santa Not all of my favorite movies are depressing! Bad Santa is unbelieveably hilarious. 2 con men pose as Santa and an elf and rob malls. Willie, the Santa, is a drunk. Yeah they way i'm describing this probably makes it seem not very funny but trust me, it is. An actual line from this movie is "You are by far the dumbest, most pathetic piece of maggot eatin' shit that has every slid from a human being's hairy ass." Need i say more?
I love lots of movies but these are my absolute favorites. :fallinluv:

Playlisty
inspired by alej, i'm gonna start a monthy (sometimes weekly. hell mostly whenever i feel like it) playlist post. The songs will usually reflect how i feel at that moment and sometimes they'll just be songs that i'm really into.
- Don't Lie - Black Eyed Peas. Pretty straightforward. Even if you haven't heard the song you can guess what's about from the title alone. It makes me think about the time Ike tried to apologize for cheating on me. I honestly couldn't tell if he was being serious or just talking to be talking. And then i stopped caring.
- Paranoid - Jonas Brothers. yeah i know the Jonas Brothers. Most people see a song by them and just totally tune it out. But some of their stuff actually doesn't suck ass. Like this song. I just really like this song.
- What It Takes - Aerosmith. Another song that makes me think about Ike. When we first broke up i listened to this song constantly. It was a huge struggle to get over him and move on. This song captured that struggle and grief perfectly.
- You Know I'm No Good - Amy Winhouse. I love this song for a bunch of reasons. It makes me think about when Sean and I went on our first date. Amy's voice is amazing in this song. It oozes with sensuality.
- Mysterious Ways - U2. I've basically listened to this song everyday for the past 9 years. I can't really put into words how much i love this song. I really love the whole feel of it. I especially love the guitar riff and the bass. It's one of my favorite songs and it has a special meaning to me.
- Lonesome Tears - Beck. same reason as #3. It's a sad song but it's insanely powerful.
- Chasing Pavements - Adele. Like, for the exact same reason as #6. LOVE this song.
I can't think of anymore songs lol so this will do for now.

a short little bloggy
i can't believe high school is pretty much over. It's all very exciting and yet, very scary. I've had some of my best moments of my life in high school and of course some of the worst moments.
In my 4 year s of high school I've had to deal with the death of my mom, dad and my sister. I've had to deal with constant bullying and tormenting. Dealing with a boyfriend totally cheating on me. And dealing with a nearly unbearable depression.
But on the other hand....
I met some of coolest, nicest, and funniest people i've ever met in my life who have gone on to be some of my best friends (alejness and ptorgness). And i met a wonderful guy (yay sean!) who loves me for me. Wow how corny does that sound? Doesn't matter! I stand by it.
So yeah, this post basically has no point but i feel better now that i've typed it.
That be all <3
