Playlisty

inspired by alej, i'm gonna start a monthy (sometimes weekly. hell mostly whenever i feel like it) playlist post. The songs will usually reflect how i feel at that moment and sometimes they'll just be songs that i'm really into.

1. Don't Lie - Black Eyed Peas. Pretty straightforward. Even if you haven't heard the song you can guess what's about from the title alone. It makes me think about the time Ike tried to apologize for cheating on me. I honestly couldn't tell if he was being serious or just talking to be talking. And then i stopped caring.
2. Paranoid - Jonas Brothers. yeah i know the Jonas Brothers. Most people see a song by them and just totally tune it out. But some of their stuff actually doesn't suck ass. Like this song. I just really like this song.
3. What It Takes - Aerosmith. Another song that makes me think about Ike. When we first broke up i listened to this song constantly.It was a huge struggle to get over him and move on. This song captured that struggle and grief perfectly.
4. You Know I'm No Good - Amy Winhouse. I love this song for a bunch of reasons. It makes me think about when Sean and I went on our first date. Amy's voice is amazing in this song. It oozes with sensuality.
5. Mysterious Ways - U2. I've basically listened to this song everyday for the past 9 years. I can't really put into words how much i love this song. I really love the whole feel of it. I especially love the guitar riff and the bass. It's one of my favorite songs and it has a special meaning to me.
6. Lonesome Tears - Beck. same reason as #3. It's a sad song but it's insanely powerful.
7. Chasing Pavements - Adele. Like, for the exact same reason as #6. LOVE this song.

I can't think of anymore songs lol so this will do for now.
